This standard specifies the requirements and methods for measurement of electrical characteristicss of aerospace solar cells under simulated solar light source.
This standard is applicable to the measurement of electrical characteristics of aerospace solar cells, including single crystalline silicon solar cells, single- and multi-junction GaAs solar cells.The multi-junction GaAs solar cells include, but are not limited to, GaInP2/GaAs/Ge triple-junction solar cells,GaInP2/GaAs/In0.3Ga0.7As triple-junction solar cells, and GaInP2/GaAs/In0.3 Ga0.7 As/In0.58 Ga0.42As quadruple-junction solar cells.
